Range Selector

This section is regarding Methods and Properties available in the Range Selector element of StockChart.

Examples:
    stockChart.rangeSelector.get(“label”);
    stockChart.rangeSelector.buttonStyle.set(“borderColor”, “red”);
    stockChart.rangeSelector.inputFields.get(“valueType”);
Note:
  • You can refer to Range Selector Element for complete list of properties available.
  • StockChart should be rendered before you can access rangeSelector & its methods / properties.

Methods in Range Selector

Method Description Example
get(String propertyName) Returns the specified property of rangeSelector. stockChart.rangeSelector.get(“width”)
set(String propertyName, Mixed value [,Boolean updateChart = true]) Sets the specified property of rangeSelector & optionally updates (default) the StockChart. stockChart.rangeSelector.set(“verticalAlign”, “bottom”)

Read-Only Range Selector Properties:

Can be accessed via get method or dot notation.


Property Description Example
bounds Bounding rectangle of Range Selector: {x1, x2, y1, y2} stockChart.rangeSelector.bounds / stockChart.rangeSelector.get(“bounds”)

Writable Properties in Range Selector:

All Range Selector options become available as properties after StockChart is rendered. You can access them either via get method or dot notation. But you can change / set those values only via set method.
