Draw a line to mark a perticular datapoint

Hi All,

So my program takes a date from the user and then plots the date in the x-axis and the other value which it takes from the user in the y-axis. The rest of the points are dynamically created using an algorithm around that date.

Is there any way to draw a strait red solid line which passes through only 1 datapoint which has the date given by the user and the x-axis.

Are you looking for stripLines with value as user given x value. If you are looking for something else, any image depicting your requirement will help us to understand better.
