startOnTick/endOnTick equivalent

Is there an option equivalent to the highcharts startOnTick and endOnTick?

I am finding that my dynamic plots are irritatingly jumping around quite a bit, because the scale is being set to (approximately) the floor/ceiling of the min/max values in the series respectively.

Can you add it?

With the exception of the situation where the user specifies a particular range, to me it makes logical sense that the range should be defined by the actual data, rather than the axis scales.
