I am having hard time figuring out how to get rid of those horizonal lines which are drawn automatically. It has black color. Or alteast able to change the horizonal lines color.
Can some one help me ?

You can hide the gridlines by setting the gridThickness of the axisY to 0. Please take a look at this documentation page for more information on gridThickness.
