You don’t need to have premium or canvasjs to change cursor icon, It is change-able via standard CSS refer to https://stackoverflow.com/questions/11771472/possible-to-replace-cursor-with-my-own-custom-image

The commercial version of CanvasJS includes all features.

Cursor type can be changed when you move the mouse over dataPoints, dataSeries, or legend by setting the respective cursor properties.

When setting the cursor property on items in the data array, the cursor only changes when I hover over the data points. For area charts, I would like the cursor to also change when I hover over the underlying area. Is that possible?

Changing the cursor while hovering over the underlying area of an area chart is not possible as of now.
