Use of the bevelEnabled property

I have an issue with the bevelEnabled property. Most time, the chart shows as a “3D” beveled style column (as shown in many examples in this website). But at times, it shows as a “box” style column instead. Why is this happening? Am I missing something?

On more note, the chart size has not been changed when switching from a beveled style to a plain style (nor has the browser has been resized).
