JPG image export error

Hi,
I am using version 1.7. I get an error when I am trying to export a graph as a jpg, png works fine. Below is the error:

Could not load image ‘Graph name.jpg’.
Error interpreting JPEG image file (Not a JPEG file: starts with 0x89 0x50)

If I try to open the exported jpg file in a more sophisticated image program such as GIMP it does manage to open the file.

I am using:
Browser: Chrome, Version 43.0.2357.134
OS: Linux Fedora 21
