    Hi, new to the site and am looking at charting libraries to use for my site.
    I was looking through the demos and couldn’t seem to find two features, not sure if they exist?

    For a line chart with time intervals – is there any way to set different background colors at different intervals?
    ie. from 12AM to 3AM have it shaded red then from 3AM to 6AM have it shaded blue.

    Secondly, I’m not sure if there’s a term for it, but does canvasJS have a “zoom bar” that is typically located below the line chart which allows you to pan across or zoom into a given time range?

    Ryan,

    You can use stripLines to set different background color for different range of values. Here is an example.

    Charts don’t have a Zoom Bar yet. But it allows you to switch between Zooming & Panning mode via a Toolbar at the top right.
